This is the 5th P80 I have bought, and the 4th from MAS Defense. The original one was a learning project, figuring out what tools and techniques worked best for removing the webbed area. I found that a super sharp 1/4" and 1/2" chisel work phenomenal. Not with a hammer, but to precisely carve out the web. Remember, it's just plastic, so it easily cuts. Just steady pressure and control, and you'll have it done in no time. The next problem area is the locking block leg pockets. I used the 1/4" chisel to get out as much as I could, then put an approximately 1/8" drill bit in a dremel and slowly and carefully use it like an endmill to remove the remaining material. Stop and check the fitment of the locking block periodically as you go. Then it's just using the jig like normal to drill and shape. For the forward hole that is no longer available on the jig, you'll need to order the front hole jig from DLD, or use the single piece locking block to mark the hole location.
