Paired this 16" 9MM AR-15 BARRELED UPPER - MAS DEFENSE RIDGELINE 15" M-LOK RAIL with an Aero Precision AR15 9mm lower. I took to the range and ran 50 rounds thru it with only two failure to eject. I was running a Aero Precision 7.7 oz buffer and a 308 buffer spring. Was running that because that is what they suggested at Aero Precision. I have a Aero Precision AR15 9mm with a 5.5 inch barrel and had the same problem. The fix was an Angstadt Arms AR-15 9mm 5.4 oz Carbine Buffer Assembly w/ Carbine Buffer Spring, 9mm Buffer Spacer.  Ran about 800 rounds thru the AR15 9mm with 5.5 inch barrel. NO issues. Back to Mas defense 16 inch barrel using the the Angstadt buffer kit. Ran 250 rounds thru it NO issues. Bottom line Mas Defense has great uppers. If you are on the fence like I was. Get off and order your upper today.

Nice upper! Test fired and found I needed longer and heavier buffer. Ordered 8oz 4" buffer from MAS a couple days ago. Should be here soon.

Once again MAS has provided a great product with quick shipping and excellent communication.  I have been wanting to build a 16” 9mm for sometime and knew with MAS I would find exactly what I wanted.
