MAS DEFENSE 9.87" SQUADRON LIGHTWEIGHT QUAD RAIL - BLACK

Proudly Made In The USA. Our "SQUADRON" quad rail with lightweight cuts make it feel as it it's floating on air. It is machined from 6061 aluminum and anodized with a Type III Class 2 Hardcoat. The rail itself weighs in at 11oz. Add the barrel nut and attaching screws for a total of 13oz. The top rail sits directly against the upper receiver rail while anti-rotations tabs at the sides assist to prevent any movement. The inner diameter is 1.8" which will allow most suppressors to fit inside the handguard. Quick Detach Mounts are built into the handguard at the front and rear positions.

***Please confirm fitment if you are using anything other than a Mil-Spec AR-15 upper receiver. The anti-rotatoin tabs may not fit around custom or billet uppers.

Installation should be complete by a gunsmith. The barrel nut accepts a standard AR-15 armorers wrench and must be torqued to a minimum of 38 FOOT LBS. The (8) handguard screws should be torqued evenly to 35 INCH LBS with blue removable loctite applied.

MAS is an amazing company to deal with.  Asnswered all my questions and very helpful.  

The Squadron quad rail handguard is so lightweight and feels great in the hand.  Fits great as well.  Don't hesitate to go for this handguard!!!

This is a nice handguard for the price. No problems with the fit and finish. It has anti-rotation tabs and QD attachment points, which is a nice feature and is very light weight but not flimsy feeling. If your looking for a quality handguard and don't want to spend a bunch of money, I recommend considering this.

These quad rails are a steal. They look great, have a generous inner diameter for muzzle tucking, and are fairly priced. They're also compatible with Aero M4E1 proprietary enhanced upper receivers, which is a great feature that is not even advertised. The overall machining and finish quality is good but not quite on the level of something like Midwest Industries. For me, I'd much rather have the MAS Quad rail at 1/3 the price with better features/design.
