M16 BOLT CARRIER GROUP 5.56 & 300 BLACKOUT BCG - HYBRID GOLD TITANIUM NITRIDE (TiN)
We decided to carry a quality BCG in a TiN coating that is more cost effective. The way we did this is by only coating the carrier in TiN. The other parts are Melonite Nitride treated. We also chose a more cost effective polishing treatment. The result is an affordable, quality BCG that looks like other BCG's that cost twice as much! Gold Titanium Nitride (TiN) is the staple of Physical Vapor Deposition (PVD) coatings. Aesthetically, it is one of the most eye catching coatings the firearms industry. Mechanically, its film lubricant properties assists materials where high wear resistance and lubricity is needed. Increased speed, low coefficient of friction and reduced carbon buildup will result in a smoother action and increase consistency.
