I came across mas defense by Google searching uppers and parts with good reviews . The finish and fit are very good, no issues cycling heavy subs and light supers , and it was shipped in a box that was very well packed . I haven't ran that many rounds through it yet but it has given me accuracy that I'm pleased with.
For the negative points which aren't anything that would stop me from getting another , are the handguard is a tad heavy/bulky...esp near the receiver on left and right side...if those qd mounts were eliminated it would be a little slicker. And when installed flush with the upper receiver , it wouldn't allow the lower pins to engage ...had to loosen it and slide it forward Just a few thousandths of an inch.
. Ive bought a lot of other brands over the years and I'm impressed by these for the price ..
